Tile Board Backsplash. So, to finally dispel the myth that i only like subway tile, here’s a roundup of my favourite pretty backsplashes that are not (gasp) subway tile. A tile backsplash in the kitchen may be applied over clean, level drywall since sinks are not considered wet areas, like showers, that require backer board.
